i had digital hustles on the side
alongside my professional
marketing career for big big brand
corporates for
seven to ten years and seven years ago
my husband quit his job at a football
club
in order to pursue being a digital nomad
and
after five years i finally took the
plunge as well and i’m going to tell you
exactly why i went from being a
nine-to-five worker stuck on hamster
wheel
so so fatigued and tired and i just
wanted out and i didn’t know how i had a
mortgage i had bills
and i had a lot of commitment so finally
i managed to make that transition and
now i travel the world full time
and i just want to tell you exactly
what a nomad is and how you become one
digital nomads
work online all of us work online what
it means is that we
work remotely from whatever our business
is some of us work for companies and we
simply log on every day from wherever we
are some of us own our own
online company i.e we’re an accountant
or we’re a freelancer
or we sell something on amazon or we
have a shop and a brand and we sell that
and some of us are lucky enough to call
ourselves influences
but either way it’s kind of all of the
same thing
and it’s easier to get into than you
even know that you could
and i think since the pandemics kicked
off everybody’s suddenly got a taste of
remote working and they’re starting to
open their eyes to
this tiny collective of digital name ads
that started a trend and it’s just
snowballing the nomadic part of being a
digital neymar
is what refers to us as travelers so it
just means that we’re location
independent
now sometimes people get confused
between a traveler and a digital nomad
the difference being if you’re a
traveler you’re
always moving around whether you work or
you don’t work
and as a digital nomad you know you
could actually still be living in one
spot
and some people choose to have a few
spots around the world
perhaps because they’ve got children and
a family and that are in school
so maybe they have a place in the uk
where i’m from for example
and then maybe they go somewhere else
like i’d ibiza
or bali or france in the winter but
there is
one thing that all of us digital name
ads have in common
and that is our love of travel and our
love of just
having freedom and a better work-life
balance so a lot of us
really have an appreciation for it
because we’ve come from a nine-to-five
background for many many years
so making that transition meant a lot to
us personally
but there’s a whole wave of generation x
and millennials
that have come through and never really
want to settle into
an office job so after dabbling with
being a digital nomad myself and after
my husband
had convinced me that this is the way to
go i finally
formed the net worth nomads movement and
it’s
really quite simple after 15 years of
big brand marketing in major corporates
trying almost every digital tactic there
is because i specialize in digital
marketing
i could see that sure i could make a lot
of money
doing lots of different things online
selling things becoming an affiliate
and creating my own brand as an
influencer however
there is only one digital nomad skill
that really truly is massively scalable
in a short period of time and that is
creating an
online course so four years ago i did it
for the first time
and now i’m going to teach you how to do
the same thing so when i refer to being
a net worth nomad
it’s simply me referring to all of the
name ads out there that have
switched on enough to build an online
course and create a
high net worth in fact by 2025
forbes predict that the online course
industry is going to be worth 350
billion pounds now actually it’s already
taking a very steep
upward trend thanks to the pandemic so
it’s not all bad
but you do need to get on the bandwagon
